The Challenge
Corporate wellness has developed hugely over the past decade. Really beginning with sick pay and private medical insurance, it was all extremely reactive, only kicking in when an employee was at crisis point and in need of intervention.
Over the last five years, Healthcheck360 has seen a major shift toward workplace wellbeing, with a stronger focus on prevention and resilience. Instead of waiting for employees to reach a crisis point, the goal became helping them stay well in the first place. In response to this shift, the company made a strategic decision to reinvent its wellness program—focusing on whole-person health and daily, meaningful engagement, fully supported through both web and mobile experiences.

Core Customer Needs
Help me, don't force me
Employees believe wellness programs shouldn’t force people to take action. It is the job of the program to convince the user of their health needs, then make it simple and effective to execute.
I need assistance
Employees say they just want someone to talk too, often abut one specific subject. Personal connection is an important piece of facing your challenges.
Integrate
Employees don’t want another app to track activity. They want to use their apps, and it’s on us to pull that data to our platform via integrations.
Small improvements
Improving health can be nerve-wrecking to some employees. A simple but effective program was the main request.

The Vision
Wellness Rewards Program
Using activities and rewards to incentivize users to get active.
Our customization is what makes us unique and competitive in the industry. But, with a small team we also need to be cognizant of how we manage a custom architecture. We can do this through a structured program, with pre-set options of customization. Points not only have to be programmatic, but we need to allow customization by each client. Clients will want certain activities to be worth more points than other clients will, and we need to account for that.
To be programmatic, we need to work backwards from the end. We need to decide what a 12-month program looks like – how many points need to be earned within 12 months to make a difficult but attainable program.
If a client wants a 5-month program, we have a recommended points goal for that timeframe based on the points for each activity we recommend. Each client will start with a full program, all pre-programmed activities turned on and points associated. Clients can turn activities off/on, change how many points for each activity, and set start and end dates.

Biometric Wellness Score
Provide each user with an in-depth look at their health
The first step in each user’s program is to complete a biometric screening. This screening provides over 30 specific readings of detailed health information. After their screening, each user can access this information in an easy-to-read format on desktop and mobile. Doctors will love you for this year-over-year information.
Based on a user’s health metrics, they will be assigned a Wellness Score. This score ranges from 0-100, and each measurement in the screening can earn a participant a range of points attributed to their score.
If we detect any critical values – i.e. any concerning readings like high blood pressure – our team is notified, and a certified Health Coach will reach out to the user to provide information, support, and direction.

Wellness Challenges
Earn points and join friends in a healthy challenge
Wellness challenges are a great way to get participants up and active. There is no better way to get healthy than to enjoy the moment with encouragement from friends.
Our wellness challenges focus on engagement and connection. We engage users with unique challenges that connect into the rewards system, encouraging users to continue their participation with rewards throughout the challenge. We make every effort to help users connect and encourage each other. Each challenge has an open community forum to post updates, feelings, and questions.

Digital Health Coaching
Don't go it alone
At Healthcheck360, we’ve have over 10 years of Health Coaching experience. We know the best ways to help users lose weight, improve their nutrition, manage their diabetes, quit smoking, and more.
We know change is hard, and that’s why our programs focus on making small changes that will make a big impact on a user’s health. Each program starts with an introductory survey, and then a conversation via phone with a Health Coach. Based on that conversation, the user and the Coach determine what the commitments/habit changes will be for the next few weeks.
The Coach will schedule check-ins, via either phone and chat, to see how things are going. The user can reach out to a Health Coach at any time. Users can log and track their progress via web or the mobile app, and at the end of each week they are sent a Weekly Roundup, discussing progress and trends.

Integrations
You do the work, we'll show you how it's going
We can’t fool ourselves into believing users will log each and every health metric and activity in our system everyday. People already have the apps they love, and instead of trying to get them to switch, we need to position ourselves as the Hub of Health information related to the company’s program.
That’s why we integrate with hundreds of medical devices and mobile apps. We simply let the users continue to use the apps they want, and we can read the information and reward them for their activity.
